    This is complete bull****. Haymon is trying to hose all of us boxing fans again. Seriously Lamont doesnt deserve this fight. Let him and Khan battle it out in a rematch on the undercard of Thurman or Matthysse vs Garcia or someone with a pulse. If it wasnt for Porter vs Brook Al Haymon would be serving us up some of the shittiest summertime fights I have seen in years.

    Broner vs Taylor
    Matthysse vs Ortiz (the "who the **** is that?" ortiz)
    Wilder vs Gavin (Seriously?! WHO?!)
    Stevenson vs FONFARA?!
    and lets not forget about that horse **** card last night headlined by Garcia vs No Chance in Hellka Salka

    Jesus christ, PETERSON VS GARCIA?! I mean I know world beaters like Edgar Santana and Dierry Jean are huge talents and stars in the making...I too was totally shocked that Lamont defied the odds :rofl :patsch . But to give him a shot at Garcia after that?! THIS IS A HUUUUUUUGE PROBLEM, and if you support this garbage you are insane!

    Garcia v Peterson is the best fight at 140 outside of Garcia v Matthysse rematch. Number 1 vs number 3 in the division, unification to boot.

    It will.

    People are just pissed off with Garcia v Salka as it was a disgusting mismatch, but this is a top quality fight.

    Ha ha, ask Dwyer70905.....he seems to think the master-craftsman Peterson will school Garcia! Not so sure myself.....
    I guess the OP has a point but this particular fight will be good viewing IMO.

    Very Silly thread, the champ versus one of the top three fighters in the division is almost as good as it gets. Garcia wants to move up soon so this is probably a great send off from the division. Lamont got overwhelmed by Lucas and is better than the line score indicates.

    Garcia's already moved up, he just doesn't want to admit it and lose his titles. Don't be surprised when he doesn't take the Peterson fight at 140.

    He might give us Taylor v. Soliman too. Also gave us Russell v. Lomachenko which was a mismatch.
