Catholic Youth Center ... They have boxing matches at a place like that ?
Did he cover up the whole fight or just have a iron chin ?

Even if you can take more punishment then your opponent, it doesnt mean you will beat him.

Shanon Briggs, Mercer, Golota, Thompson, McCall, Witherspoon, Sam Peter, David Izon, Ike Ibeabuchi, Maskaev, Botha, Jimmy Thunder, Larry Donald .... as well as a whole load of undefeated prospects whose names I don't recognise.

His opponents had a combined record of 939/160, which isn't bad considering that 61 of that came from two people.

This demonstrates that you need more than just a good chin. It doesn't necessarily mean that talent it more important; all depends how attributes are combined.

I could post a link to Herbie Hide's boxrec page and "prove" the exact opposite. Punch resistance matters in Boxing. Get over it, nuthugger.

I was just trying to illustrate that even if you never get knocked out, it doesn't mean you're an incredibly skilled fighter. The opposite is true as well. Wladimir, RJJ, Tyson, so many great boxers are crucified for stumbling and being KO'd, and for some, they define the fighter's career based on those KO's. By this logic, Wilson is a better class than even those 3 boxer's. I guess I'm poking fun at the "chin-checkers" basing whole illustrious careers on a few seconds.

Of course it matter, but theres no way it should define a fighter as being ATG or bum. and who am I nuthugging? glass chinned fighter's? lol

Obviously you are nuthugging Glass Jawed Frauds since you mention Roid above as someone who shouldn't be judged on his brutal and embarrassing KO losses.:lol::rofl:rofl

Pretty impressive the guys he's gone the distance with. Peter Buckley was great as well.

Remigijus Ziausys is another great example, 21-47-3 (10) gone the distance with a who's who of heavyweight and cruiserweight prospects/fringe contenders in the last few years:
Pawel Kolodziej, Alexander Kotlobay, Maxim Maslov, Wach, Helenius, Krzysztof Glowacki, Dinu, Grigory Drozd, Fragomeni and Chisora.
The only man to stop him was Alexander Frenkel

Ya, I should just ignore all he achieved before that Tarver fight, right? Just ignore all his titles, victories, winning the Heavyweight Championship Of The World. I honestly was never a huge fan of Jones but I'm not so ignorant and arrogant to define the man by losses at the tail end of his career. I guess you laugh at Ali too since he was thrashed by Holmes and Berbick too? What a bum that Ali was. Glass chinned yokel :nut
