This should be a doozy. Lucas's longer arms should help though Provodnikov keeps that chin nicely tucked.

 

Great fight, i heavily fancy lucas as provo cuts easy and is slow footed i see a war but lucas getting the better of it and stopping him late on. Provo hits hard but lucas has one punch ko power

 

Matthysse should win by early knockout.

Provodnikov's come-forward style in which he'll take three shots to land one will be his undoing against a deadly puncher like Matthysse.

This is incredible. It's reported that the fight might come to Florida, where I'm from (Miami). Not sure why the fight would be here, but I'd be thrilled if it came to fruition. Las Vegas is also being mentioned, with the StubHub Center apparently out for now.

Matthysse is the anti-Leo Santa Cruz. So impressed with how he's stepping up and taking on Provodnikov. There's almost no way this isn't a fight of the year candidate.

for me matthysse wins. he can punch but he also has that boxing brain that provodnikov lacks. it won't go the distance thats for sure and i pick matthysse to win

 

Who's really the hardest puncher Provodnikov has fought to deserve this iron chin reputation? Notoriously feather fisted Bradley and Algieri? Accumulation puncher Alvarado, whose lone stoppage of note came against a guy notorious for gassing out? I think Matthysse has firepower quite unlike anything Provodnikov has ever been hit with.
