Hopefully Bob makes this fight if not Pacquiao for Crawford.

Provodnikov is a big scalp. Of course he does. 10X more than Lundy, Beltran, Dulorme combined.

All these reports of Crawford ducking guys is becoming an issue. His terrible cherry picking back these claims up somewhat .

It´s like the moment he became a star, Bob started protecting him
    And for no real reason.
There is no one at 10 who would be favoured over him - yes, there are though fights but nothing he can´t overcome.

Provodnikov would drag him through hell. His speed is extremely underrated and Crawford has taken good, flush shots fight after fight.
    Provo drops him :deal

Crawford has been carefully matched, Arum is trying to build something. but look at the tale of the tape, Provo should be a severe underdog. I'd rather Crawford face Postol.

    Crawford - Provo
    Height: 5'8" - 5'6"
    Reach: 70" - 66"
Slick, outsider boxer - short range slugger.
    Last 5 fights: 5-0 - 3-2

Provo's losses were against guys bigger than him (exception of Bradley) and guys that decided to box him. He got outboxed by Lucas Matthysse :nut

I'd give him a puncher's chance against Crawford in the first 4-6 rounds but that's it. Crawford vs Postol is the fight I want to see.

Provo might drop him early, Crawford looks susceptible to punishment early (mental mistakes?). But Crawford still out boxes Provo any day of the week.

Matthysse has above average boxing skills. Maidana, who is crude and slightly awkward, arguably beat a slick boxer whom his fans call a master of boxing.

Matthysse's boxing is alright... And Maidana faced arguably the worst version of Mayweather. Maidana is awkward and fought the perfect fight to make Mayweather uncomfortable, but that's it.

    No doubt in that. :yep
Crawford likely has enough pop and grit to pull though but it would be a heck of a fight.

Maidana under Garcia was a completely different fighter.

I understand that, I've seen that vids. Pre-Garcia Maidana would've lost worse. First fight was close and sways depending on what you like (or WHO you like for most folks here).

It was a really close fight, but not on the cards. Same as with Cotto - Mayweather.
