According to Freddie Roach, he's 'in the mix' for this one.

Not interested in a rematch with Bradley, apparently.

What a war that would be. :bbb

  2. Perfect. And it'll be Rios then... what an explosive fight. If we get it on HBO Bad, that'd be a real treat.

There is a reason he isn't interested in Bradley.
Bradley fought his fight and beat him, there is nowhere to go but up for Bradley and quite frankly despite what he said he took a lot of damage himself.

Nowhere to go but up? Bradley was talking about Floyd, Pac, and Marquez matches and got beat half to death by his "tuneup" opponent!

Don't get me wrong, it was a fantastic fight, both guys get nothing but props from me, and I don't mind the scorecards....but I don't know how optimistic I feel about Bradley's future at the highest level after seeing the punishment he took last night.

So..that will be 3 consecutive violent wars for Rios (or Alvarado)? Not sure that's such a good idea. The fans will love it, of course. But....damn. Talk about a way to really shorten your life span. Assuming Rios wins he should be fighting the winner of last Saturday's bout which is of course Bradley. Or JMM. And would it be wrong to see Pac vs. Provo? Both are coming off a loss and Provo's stock went up so I think he deserves a big payday. I think Provo's injuries from the Bradley fight look a lot worse than what it is. He said he didn't feel Bradley's punches.

Like I said he won fighting the complete wrong stylistic fight. He fought in the only way Ruslan could win and he won.

In a rematch if he fights the way he usually fight, a disciplined but equally hard fight he will win easily.

Or maybe, because Bradley will not be fighting anyone anytime soon.

If you really think about it; It's Ruslan who will be moving up. Especially in terms of exposure and paydays. I will agree that he took a lot of punishment from Bradly and does owe him a debt of gratitude for giving him the opportunity.

If Bradley isn't fighting soon you better believe Ruslan won't be either.
They both left pieces of themselves in the ring last night.

I bet Ruslan can't even see today, and that is due to taking punches from a light hitting Bradley. I'm sure Freddie knows that if he took those shots from legit WW he might be done as a boxer today.

Ruslan shouldn't be fighting before Nov. just like Bradley

Ruslan is a dangerous fight for Rios, I would be surprised if Arum would risk his rios train against anyone other then Bradley, JMM or Pac.

If Im proven wrong I would love it, that's a badass fight. I just don't see why Arum would make that fight however.

Provo Vs. the "Loser" of Rios/Alvarado should be more like it.

Not a chance. Rios will be a perfect comeback fight for Pac. Pac looks best against come forward plodders. I fully expect this fight to be next.
