Stop overrating Provo by comparing him to Tyson. Mike was a once in a lifetime type talent. Provo is a tough guy with big power....... but he's not a special talent.
Both fighters have/had come forward offensive minded styles and at least better than average chins. But that's about where the comparisons stop. Provo is a good wear-you-down pressure fighter with a better mental will and a really good work rate even when taking shots back. Tyson was a much more explosive puncher with far better speed and defense who looked to knock you out with nearly every punch. No intentions of wearing anyone down over rounds nor do I feel the mental will of a Provodnikov.
Lmfao @ Comparing prov to mike Tyson. Prov has pop and is great at coming forward putting the pressure but come on his style is not even close to Tyson. Tyson comes forward by ducking moving his head and would ko a fighter mostly in the 1st or 2nd round and will destroyed a fighter at anyway from left hooks, right hooks, straight right hand, body shots, uppercuts from either hands.
All you guys having a go saying OP compared Provo to Tyson are a bit misguided. He said it reminded him of Tyson. Fair enough right. Pigeons remind me of Tyson but i ain't comparing them. Really don't think he was comparing their talent. Good wee fight though!
