... Just like most guys who can punch. Who has he beaten beside a guy who went 1-1 against Brandon Rios? :think

Tim bradley, Chris Algieri and Mauricio Herrera. All of whom he was robbed against. The guy could very easily be
    Undefeated.

Why a random hate thread for a guy who can't even get anyone to step into the ring with him? Being forced to go back n fight in Russia cuz no one got the nuts to fight him. Get a life man.

I don't think anyone is overrating him, I'm a big fan of Ruslan but he's very limited.
Herrera was close but Herrera deserved it.
Bradley won every round but the two he was dropped in.
Algieri outworked him 11 rounds to 1.

This is just another thread created to make Algieri look like a worthless opponent, therefore making Pacquiao look bad for fighting him:-(

"Almost" and "probably" don't mean ****. He lost to Bradley, Harrera and the featherfisted Algieri. His best win came against a guy who went 1-1 against Rios. He's nowhere close to elite, but certain fanboys act like he is to suit their lame agendas. :deal

Algieri is a worthless opponent for Pacquiao, but that's beside the point. Many act like Provodnikov is some kind of unstoppable force, but the fact is he's nowhere near elite at 140, let alone 147.

Said the enormous floyd fanboy. Ha. I don't think provodnikov is part of anyone's "agenda." A random hate thread for a guy who's hardly being mentioned in the sport right now is more indicative of an agenda than anyone pumping ruslan.

You must have me mistaken for your dad. I'm a Bernard Hopkins fan, not a Mayweather fan. :bart

He's a very exciting brawler who put against the right opponent, looks amazing, as for Algieri, he stylistically will be far more of a challenge than Ortiz, Guerrero or Maidana.

Ruslan is a gate keeper, its been shown that he can be beat with a boxing game. He gasses out quick so if the opponent makes it past 3rounds then they have a high chance of winning. He is better than Alvarado and probably on rios's level

Rios was more than happy to fight him, but Ruslan and Pelullo refused to move up above 140 for anyone other than Bradley or Pacquiao. That of course can also explain why the Marquez fight never took place, since Marquez wasn't interested in winning the same belt he already had.

Maidana would beat Provodnikov widely IMO. Maidana is far more polished, and I would have said that before either of the Mayweather fights.

He is an exciting brawler. As for the rest of your post, that's subjective. Stylistically more of a challenge for who? He clearly wouldn't be more of a stylistic challenge for, say, Floyd Mayweather than Maidana was.

Actually he probably would, Maidana played right into Floyd's hands even though his style tends to overwhelm Mayweather at times.
No one knows how good Algieri really is, but he looks pretty damn good so far, so its too soon to declare him a **** opponent, based on fame level....yes, but skill level wise... maybe not.

He can't cut the ring nearly as good as Maidana can, isn't as quick and doesn't have the size to keep Mayweather on the ropes. He'd lose a 12-0 decision, and only a blind nuthugger would disagree. :bart
