Should be a classic. Probably Provodnikov by late stoppage.

Alvarado says on Twitter the fight is nowhere close to being done. He's pissed about the money he's being offered. Can't say I blame him since the guy he just beat is about to make millions vs. Pacquiao.

HOLY ****!! this would be real nice.

i see Alvarado controlling things with the jab to keep Ruslan off balance and out of position for large periods of the fight, but Ruslan will get to him at some point to take him out cold.

    hope it goes down.

This'll be pure craziness. I think Alvarado taking control and sweeping the last four rounds to take a UD is the most likely scenario, but its not out of the question that Ruslan could stop Alvarado early.

Provodnikov vs Rios would have been the most entertaining fight one could make in the sport.

Ill take Alvarado even though he's coming off two demoralizing fights.

Provodnikov by late KO. There'll be no Prescott-like comeback...

    I assume this would've been at 147?

  11. Alvarado and Rios are going to end up having brain damage. Rios blocks punches with his face. Alvarado too but not as much... if he takes this fight hes going to be hurt badly and most likely knocked out if they don't stop if before then.

Rios is already half ******ed and fighting Pac isn't going to help one bit. I don't see Rios knocking out Pac. JMM took 42 rounds to get that awesome KO. Rios is no JMM.

Rios struggles with boxers and Pac will be slicing him up from all these different angles. Hopefully Pac doesn't get drawn into a war.:bbb

Hate to see Alvarado take this kind of damage -- but this will be yet another battle. FOTY is still in the running, people!

businesswise it doesn't make sense (risk/reward) for alvarado and i don't think this fight happens.

a win against a less riskier opponent and he gets the pac fight and about 5mil.

not yet, both teams are negotiating, Prov's team accepted the fight, but Alvarado wants more money
