People were complaining and saying that Algieri didn't deserve the Pac fight. So if Algieri didn't deserve it by beating Provodnikov...

Did Ortiz earn the Floyd shot by beating Berto and almost getting stopped in the process himself?

Did Maidana earn the Floyd shot by beating outsized, struggled w/ Paulie, and one dimensional Broner?

Did Guerrero earn the Floyd shot by beating Selcuk Aydin and a damaged and fragile Berto?

Going w/ Provodnikov as he steamrolls Berto/Broner/Aydin.

    Oh, yeah.

There's no clear-as-day agenda going on here. Nope.

To answer the question each Ortiz, Guerrero, and Maidana had done enough to easily enter everyones' top 10 at Welterweight (with Ortiz; top 3) before getting their chance as the B-side to a superstar... The same can't be said for Algieri though.

Great work there, detective! You figured out that I was saying Provodnikov is a greater win than Berto/Broner/Aydin.

So which is the best scalp?

Probably taking Berto's zero and belt in a FOTY-candidate when he was #3 at WW behind only Floyd and Pac.

Why is Prov the greater win? Who has he beat? His only notable win is Alvarado, other than that he lost against Bradley, and Herrera. Broner, and Berto are the more valuable scalps.
