If the knockdown was counted in the first round, many believe Provodnikov won the fight. Some feel Provodnikov won anyway. Bradley says he made the decision to fight like that, but after watching Provodnikov vs Alvarez, I'm a little skeptical. However, I know both will make adjustments in the second fight, but I believe it would be another war. Considering they both have big wins, what better fight than another one with each other?
Alvarez had success boxing Provodnikov at first, especially when he turned southpaw as it seemed Provodnikov had no anwer. Then after a serious of left hooks landed upstairs midfight, and a redirection of his attack to Alvarado's body, Alvarado was forced to fight and ran out of gas, while Provodnikov seemed to come on stronger. Alvarado dropped to his knees twice in the eighth round to avoid a sustained beating by Provodkinov and then his corner stopped the fight or he refused to come out in the 10th round I believe. It was a war.
Bradley won't rematch him or Pac. maybe if he can get his payed off judges, but I think both Pac and Provodnikov wouldn't let the it go to the cards the second time around.
Ruslan deserves a rematch with Bradley. But, Bradley won't want it, although after this performance by Provodnikov hopefully he will be pressured into it.
Scar, most of us and propably including Bradley saw Ruslan as harmless friday night fighter who would make Timothy look good. It turned out to be nightmare for him. Respect for Timothy keeping his 0. I doubt Tim is would avoid rematch, hell no but I am not sure about his handlers.
