Provodnikov vs Marquez?

    I'm a huge Marquez fan, have been since long before he was a household name. Because of that, I hope he doesn't take this fight. I think Provo gets the stoppage against Marquez. He is bigger, stronger and has a harder punch. I think his hand speed and footwork are underrated too. When he was in against Alvarado, he did a decent job of working angles to open up his shots. Marquez has never had great defense, he has always been a world-class counter puncher. If he gets caught with shots like he did against Bradley, Pac, Diaz, Katsidis etc. Provo will stop him late. Hate to see an old master like Marquez take a beating.

    Provo dangerous early on but a come forward fighter is made for JMM.

    This goes like Katsidis and Baby bull.

    I'm a fan of Marquez myself. But, this would be an excellent fight. I could actually see Marquez getting the stoppage.

    Why would Marquez take this fight. Too great of a probability that he could suffer his first stoppage.

    Marquez could fight ti'll he's 50 and beat a Ruslan type.

    Being able to beat fighters like Ruslan is the reason why Bernard Hopkins is still able to be active today.

    Provo has beaten who? Alvarado??? This guy is tailor made for Marquez if you disagree then you don't know nothing about boxing.
