Marquez would destroy this guys face and close both eyes. If Bradley shut this guys eye lid imagine what a harder hitting and more accurate Marquez would do.

The way u guys hype up some fighters are ridiculous. U went from jumping off the matthyse bandwagon onto the prov one. The guy hasn't beaten anyone worth a damn.

So far Marquez has Pacquiao, Provodnikov or Bradley as options. One of these fights will happen. Provodnikov could prove to be a nightmare for Marquez, especially at 40 years of age.

If I were JMM, I'd steer clear of Ruslan. Too much risk, not enough reward. If Ruslan held a WW title, I might say give it a go, but as a JWW title there's no reason to take such a risk.

Provo almost beat Bradley which is enough to beat Marquez. Marquez went life and death with Juan Diaz and katsidis. Provo will kill him

I'm thinking the same too. If Provodnikov offered a title it would make sense for Marquez since he wants to make history before retirement. Otherwise, there is no point/goal in this fight for Marquez. He's better off fighting Bradley again or Pacquiao.

I've got news for you, titles have'nt meant squat for two decades now, the only thing that matters for the promotion of a fight is if it would make money. Pretty simple logic, even a dummy can figure it out.

    that's not what marquez said.

he refused more money for a chance to become 4 weight titlist.

now it is not applicable? what if he is offered the same money as with the bradley fight?

    what is the excuse then?

it wont be easy but i "THINK" he has enough left to beat Ruslan on points .

I could be wrong though , Ruslan punches are like iron .

Marquez with that mexican pride doesnt mind getting caught with a few bombs to show you he can get you back .

But at this late stage in his career , If Marquez tries to engage in a fire fight with someone like Ruslan , Hes in HUGE trouble .

Marquez picked Bradley for the WBO title and because he holds a fake victory over Pacquiao. Did that fight sell much?, no, Did it get the hype it deserves?, no. Why did he pick it then?, because Marquez wanted to make history by being the first Mexican to win championships in five different weight divisions. Titles may not mean anything to you and that's understandable but to boxers it means everything, even a dummy can figure that out.

Im a huge Marquez fan but win or lose (and id think he would probably lose) he should not take this kind of punishment this late in his career.
He has clearly slowed down a good bit and he has way too much heart for a fight like this.

Marquez' payday for Bradley was more than what he made for Mayweather, so he got paid handsomely in that fight.

As for the Pacturd that that knows jack **** on this thread, Marquez will always get paid more fighting Pacquiao than he would Bradley, but thats not the point when it comes to Marquez accepting another Pacquiao fight.

When it comes to Pacquiao, Marquez is through getting financially screwed with. He's been getting paid less than a 25% cut in those fights and having KHTFO, he's not about to get screwed over again. Pacquiao wants a 5th Marquez fight, he's going to have to offer at the very minumum 50/50 or move along to fighting someone else.

The Pacturd must comprehend that you dont accept fighting Pacquiao for 10 million just because you'd get paid a couple of million less fighting anyone else.

Pacquiao can move along and fight the Rios of the world while selling well below 500k PPV's!
