Provodnikov may slug it out with Matthysse and have success, but he won't be the first to do so.

Someone already slugged it out with Matthysse and had success doing it.

Danny Garcia exchanged with him, dropped him, and won a clear 115-112 decision.

As much as I don't care for Garcia and as much as everyone else hates him, that was a great win that shocked most of us.

 

This is a perfect fight for these two. Two tough guys. One can't box a lick whose chin is unproven...and hasn't fought a real puncher yet, and the other has fought the very best in his division and was outboxed by Danny Garcia easily.

I expect Matthysse to take Provodnikov apart.

I don't know who I am rooting for. We know who you're rooting for. The guy who is closet to Pac in terms of look and heritage.

 

I expect Yhe Machine to start out boxing the Russian and then this turns into a brawl after 3 or 4 rounds.

You could just as easy say Povo has never fought someone with the skill and power combination of Mattysse. Lucas has been on the bigger stages, taking on the bigger names for a few years now. Provos biggest accomplishment was a decision loss to Bradley. I like watching the guy, but I think he gets a little overrated on here.

 

Do you know where I can find a vid of rios matheysse sparring? Had a look but all I can find is videos of Rios talking about it.

if this fight would of happened two years ago i'd favor lucas... but lucas as become chinny since then, and you dont want to be chinny against a guy like provo.... i think provo is going to break down the machine and stop him late in the fight...:bbb that goes without saying that provo is going to have to walk through fire to get it, but the thing is he's willing to do it...is mattyhsse?? we'll see soon enough..

 

A toss up. Ruslan is a pressure fighter but not the puncher Lucas is. This will be interesting no doubt, as long as it lasts...

 

Don't know why Mattysse is so popular with your weirdos. A basic fighter with a solid punch.
