I'm guessing this is to do with Calzaghe not feeling it with his promotions company and thus enzo no longer being arsed with the training? Why was Calzaghe promotions such a disaster?
I dunno, hopefully it rejuvenates their careers though by leaving Enzo. Calzaghe just didn't seem to have the heart for it. And with the exception of Pryce and Rees, they didn't have the best stable. Just didn't invest enough money at the beginning (like Hatton promotions did).
duno. dont think he was very popular as a person where as ricky hatton was. wasnt really in touch with the fans and what not
He got sick of it and could not be arsed with all the hardship of promting life. He thought it was going to be easy as ****.
Always thought the idea of Calzaghe as a promoter was a bit ridiculous. He was a guy that had to hold a world title for 10 years in Wales to become even close to famous!
From what I can see on facebook, Rees and Pryce are good mates, so maybe they wanted to stick togeather. Feel a bit shite for Enzo though.
Why would they go to Karl Ince... he's hardly managed any wins of note with all the fighters he's got.
