Conventional wisdom is that Pryor would win. But DLH was a big 140lb fighter.....and is now underrated at lower weights because people don't like him lol. I will think about this a bit.

Yeah, I kind of see it the same way.

It's a tough fight for both men.

Yeah, because we all know how great Oscar's stamina is.

Over 15 Pryor would stop Oscar late. Over 12 he'd outwork him and frustrate his style, though both fighters would probably taste the canvas.

I'll take the 5'10 De La Hoya over The 5'6 Pryor.
A defo Stiff jab in Aaron's face all night long, Hoya was a strong 140lbs.
Finish the job Alexis Arguello was going to before the "BB" in the 14th.

    De La Hoya by UD

It's not as if Arguello was winning the fight prior to the bottle incident, and Pryor finished him off sooner in the rematch. Obviously not a prime Arguello, but Arguello was never in his prime at 140. Still, he had better stamina than Oscar did, and Pryor never showed vulnerability to a jab, especially one that is only used in moderation as DLH used his.

Pryor is one of the most overated fighters in history imo.

Granted he had a tremendous workrate but he was defensively flawed and his chin wasnt exactly concrete either.

His resume is pretty **** as far as greats go. His best wins coming against a past his prime Cermano and a fighter who whilst great in Arguello, actually started his career at 126.

DLH holds all the aces in this fight, and its not as though he is slow of foot or punch himself and he also has a great set of whiskers.

The only way i could see Pryor winning is by grinding DLH down, but i couldnt see this happening.

DLH by mid to late rounds stoppage.

P.S. I KNOW im going to get flack of this:good

at 140 Oscar's stamina wasn't an issue yet.

I'd pick Oscar by late stoppage or UD.

This being the Pryor that beat Arguello vs. The Oscar that got a lopsided UD over Miguel Angel Gonzalez
