Pryor vs. Cuevas

Cuevas would knock him out actually, in a mad entertaining fight. I think Pipino would eventually get that telling blow in and follow it up. Can't entirely count out the Hawk tho.

 

I think the Hawk would make it interesting-for a good minute.Once Pipino lands the coldcock, goodnight Aaron.

 

I too think Cuevas would dust off Pryor at some point in the fight. Styles make the fights as they say and Cuevas would get there at some point. Pryor has a good chin but even a GREAT chin would crack under the fire that Cuevas threw.

 

as much as i love aaron, i got cuevas on this.

 

THE fighter who was made to order for Pipino. Acouple of those Cuevas specials to the breadbasket, then up top. Pryor feels like he smoke a pipe after the punches. :smoke

Punchers beat swarmers. Gotta favor Cuevas here. Pryor's got some whiskers, but not enough to stand up to this sledgehammer.

 

Yey Cuevas gots this for sure it took me only a couple of seconds, Pryor would be commiting suicide if he came in at Cuevas like that. Overall PFP Pryor was the better fighter and would do better than Cuevas would against certain opposition.
But a fight between the two of them , Id bet the Ranch on Cuevas.

 

This certainly would have been one of the greatest slugfests of all time. Pryor coming forward with his endless attack, Cuevas with his murderous left hook.

That being said, Cuevas stops him once he lands that punch.

Pryor showed a great chin because his adrenalin was so high from stimulants. This alowed him to absorb the punches that arguello landed on him.

Against cuevas however it would be a totaly different story. Cuevas was a full fledge welterweight and a harder puncher that arguello because he was bigger. What pryor took from alexis he could not take from cuevas. His handlers would be scraping "the hawk" off the canvas inside of 5.

Anyway, Pryor would be all over Cuevas, but Cuevas would be able to trade with him. So Pryor would get wasted.
