I dunno', but it was probably when JT and I were ganging up on rooster over Ayala or Norris or summat, I dunno, really weird post with no relevance to me whatsoever.
:-( It might not have been that, think JT might well have enjoyed both of those fighters anyway, but Rooster was seen as a joke at that time, a massive nobber.
Went to almost all of Pipino's fights in the LA area in the 70's and 80's and think that Cuevas (Who was most exciting fighter) in his prime levels Pryor in 1 or 2 rds. In all my years at the fights, I never saw anyone (including Olivares whom I saw often) get the fans stirred up like Pipino in his great championship reign.
