PS... Valero dominated DeMarco with ease on DeMarco's turf despite a terrible cut

Maybe a little, but it can't be much. Like I said, he was landing dead flush over and over and never really made an impression. DeMarco's a tough kid but he's not THAT tough.

I wish I WAS wrong. Love watching Linares do his thing.

 

Valero had heavier hands and a better chin than Linares.

Linares has FAR more boxing skill & overall talent than Valero did.

In all seriousness though Valero is a massive loss for boxing fans. Imagine Valero-Rios :|

 

I think if you try to fight Valero the way Rios would try to fight Valero, you get knocked the **** out in a hurry. It'd be like trying to win a slugging match against Naseem Hamed.

Antillon got rough in sparring v. Valero, and Edwin came back to his corner and said 'I'm going to knock him the **** out' and did exactly that within the next 90 seconds. Dude was an animal.

 

I must be the only one that doesn't get it....

oh yeah... Valero said DLH was shot. I remember now.

 

Valero said that ODLH had no further business boxing and that he would get owned by Pac which was exactly what happened.


And yes, it was Valero who brutalized DLH in sparring.



Had it been Valero in with DLH that night, he would have done the same to him as Pac did.


As a pro, Valero was NEVER dominated, neither in the actual fight nor in any sparring session. He even sparred a prime EM and more than held his own.
