Lucky mf then... he squatted down buttocks-to-heels and wound up on the hooker-cut into the bottom of Bimbito's junk.

 

Méndez is able to make Rivera miss in spectacular fashion and make him pay with crisp starchy counters when he puts his mind to it...but he's so damn tentative and safety-first...

An interruption for a corner member to reach under the bottom rope and tie a fighter's shoe oughtn't be the dramatic highlight of the penultimate round of a (granted, minor) title fight.

Shame. Rivera the only man showing real passion in there in R10, hurling nonstop uppercuts with both hands barging in - only to continue getting carved up like a holiday turkey, in between clinches. I can't even justify this as a pity round for him, he's the aggressor but getting dodged and hit back in such lopsided fashion..

Really weird juxtaposition seeing those R1 highlights, with Méndez scoring that KD and then hovering over Rivera's prone figure, sticking his tongue out, all fired up... and then where did all that fire go in the nine subsequent rounds??

 

WTF just happened with Pototo & Bimbito kneeling together in a corner, all chummy? Were they swapping phone numbers or scanning each other's Snapchat QR-codes to get a beer sometime?
