the point of the post questioning aa's power was a jab at people who claim dirrell was in full acting mode. he can't be the most devastating puncher in the smw division (which i believe he is) and catch dirrell flush when he aint looking and when aa is hitting down on someone for the first time in his career and not hurt him. what he was saying is which one is it. so in reality, all those gifs support the theory that dirrell was really hurt, not that he was acting.

Hey with all that said...We will have a chance to see where KP stands at this point in 2 weeks...I believe the fight with Martinez will give us a good idea of just how good kp is now..Martinez is a solid opponent with awesome speed..I expect him to win a close UD!

Dirrell is very slick. He is so slick that I think his handlers need to get him to move around LESS. He needs to learn to stay in the pocket more, slip, bob and weave, block, and fire hard counters. He has the speed and the reflexes to be VERY good at that. If he had done it against AA, I think he would have stopped him.

Exactly like in that fight vs Abraham before the 10th. Man if Dirrell did that vs Froch with barely clinching and move less as you say would have easily and i mean easily beat Froch.

After viewing the fight and witnessing the controversy in posts about AD faking, I decided to show the fight to my mother who is a physician to get her assessment. What we thought was AD's leg shaking was actually him instinctively trying to get up. It was her assessment that after he was hit that he wasn't out completely. His leg moving was him trying to roll over which he began to after about 7 or 8 seconds, but only making it to his side. Apparently she said when you're hit like that you r nerves shut down and you slowly begin to regain control of your body. She also mentioned that the doctor would have known he was faking as soon as they check his vitals, but she would have to have taken the vitals herself to know for sure.

Before the Froch fight I was adamant that Froch would eat Dirrell alive. Come fight time we saw an ugly foul fest, but we also saw Dirrell hold his own every step of the way, and at times he made Froch look like a buffoon.

Before the Abraham fight I said AA would knock Dirrell out the first time he made a serious mistake. I expected Dirrell to catch a straight right on the chin after making one of his normally inept attempts to clinch. That never happened. Dirrell swept the first five rounds, and when Abraham hit the stool after that 5th round he was already starting to look like a beaten fighter. Going into the 11th Dirrell was up 7 rounds to 3, and he was on his way to making it 8 rounds to 3 when Abraham proved he is more psychotic court jester than "King."

Dirrell's power, his chin, his ability to stay focused and execute a fight plan, and his over all improvements over the past year shocked the hell out of me. I underestimated and under rated this kid by the proverbial country mile. I take my hat off to this kid, and to those fans who saw his innate talent long before I did.

In the Abraham fight? Honestly i don't know. I thought it was a clear counter left hook that send Abraham to the ropes but some knuckle heads thinks it was a push by a wist or a forearm. :rofl
