He makes good selections. Mosley...Ortiz...Cotto...these are good opponents. Floyd could have selected BETTER opponents AT TIMES but he never makes a bad decision. You expect him to give us high risk/low reward type of fights every time he signs up for a match. But who has shown such consistency? I can only think of a few. Let's face it, boxing is full of cherry pickers (if you want to call it that) and that's just how it is. Ward, Mares, maybe Darchinyan or Alexander....who else has taken nothing but hardcore, risky fights in recent yrs? There aren't that many. Does this mean these are the only great fighters in boxing and we should dismiss the rest?
