Cotto beaten, and Juan Ma a guy I really was never sold on seems just another Champ, is there anyone else out there coming up that has the skills to make waves?

Calderon of course but at 108 he gets hardly any ink......any insiders know someone to watch?

PS support for Cotto should go on but damn! an elite trainer please.

That kid that was supposed to help Pac spar for Cotto looks like a faster version of Cotto with more power too.

Ima keep my eye on that kid.

cotto is not done imo. he just needs to hook up with a real trainer and not a nutrionist. he looked good in the early rounds with pac plus i don't think you peak until you hit your early 30's.

That kid is American. His mom is Puerto Rican I believe though. I'm not sure a sure half Puerto Rican kid who was born and raised in the States is the guy that Puerto Ricans will tab to be their boxing savior.

What do you expect??? Boxers will come and go. There are 3 or 4 good prospects right now at amateurs. Its mater of time. Not reason change anyhting.

#1. Puerto Rico boxing doesn't need no savior. Jesus!!! Phillipines have a great champ!!! But they are not dominating boxing!!!
#2. All Puerto Rican are Americans. Correction: US CITIZENS, America is much more than USA.

Puerto Rico doesn't need to look for a boxing icon, that's part of the mentality that makes people overrate their fighters, lets just enjoy what we have now and enjoy whatever comes next.

One more thing. The issue about the trainer: It doesn't have to be a very famous guy. Yes experience its necessary. Ivan Calderon is considered one of the best technicians in boxing today. And nobody even metion his trainers. The point is Cotto, just as his uncle Evangelista, are very dominat persons. They like to be in control. Everybody in Cotto's team does whatever Cotto says. Nobody is telling him: "Look, you are doing this wrong". That is why he still making the same mistakes he made against Margarito. That is why he got stuck. Cotto needs to keep his friends close, but he needs a trainer, not a friend.
