True true just wanted to see your reaction.. you took it alot better than one of your other Cubano compas who gets mad at any perceived slight. I dont know any Mexican fans(that are real fans) that have expected big things from Chavez jr.. .. I dont hold Chavez tough fights with average guys against him, he never had an amatuer career, so its expected that he wasnt going to be rushed in with world class guys or have some tough fights.. Hes barely coming into his own.. RIght now Chavez is barely developing into a guy ready to take the next step... Experience wise hes more like a 15 fight prospect with an solid amatuer background. With Lara it was different he was an elite world class amatuer.. And not to long ago people were saying he could beat the top guys in the dvision. BIg things were and still (to a lesser extent) are expected from him... As for Molina i agree.. I have known of him for awhile and have considered him an underrated sleeper at JM.. I think boxing people have finally realized that hes no steppingstone for prospects, but a legitimately good fighter... Chavez fight with Molina was when he was really green, both guys have improved since then. We will see exactly how far JC jr has come along pretty soon.
Yes, Cotto is the only one left! Oh but Puerto Rico's neighbor and good friend " CUBA " is starting to heavily make a name for itself again, just as before Castro, with good ones as ... Yuriorkis Gamboa Guillermo Rigondeaux Erislandy Lara Odlanier Solis Yudel Jhonson Mike Perez Luis Franco Yordenis Ugas and others, that will definitely put Cuba back on the pro boxing map once again. In the meantime, Puerto Rico has suffered 3 back to back to back major loses in Calderon, Lopez and Vazquez jr but they are still a force in boxing. But now that Cuba is here, the picture is rapidly changing ! :good
its ok,its just boxing, why get so upset?...its not like ur mortgage is getting screwed. anyways, Molina just fought recently after his fight w Lara and won by KO against a decent opponent.I think the guy has something to offer and Lara's team didnt see it.
Thats not the first time hes ruined beat a prospect , that thought they were gonna use him to pad their record.. First it was Chavez Jr, Then Undefeated Mike ALvarado was lucky to escape with a controversial decision., THen beat Alexis Camacho and Ed Paredes to prospects with glossy records.. I think managers of undefeated prospects will finally get the hint to . Stay away from this kid.. Hope Molina can get a shot vs a contender and move up in the rankings... Or maybe Golden boy might think hes safe and give him a shot vs Canelo!
Thats what ATG Jose Napoloes did... Same with Sugar Ramos (i think hes in the HOF too),. Mexico adopted them and they became citizens, i heard that Napoles still lives there.
You win some you lose some. Sometimes theres a ratcha where PR fighters were the hunters now the tables have turned and its Mexis hunting and destroying PRs best. This batch of Aztec warriors dont have decorated amatuer careers they became pros young learned the hard way and this makes them seasoned vets with maybe not the best records, but a wealth of experience. Just a rude awakening to all that get caught up with overhyped fighters. Great fighters bounce back lets see if Juanma and VasquezJr can.
By most accounts 2 Mexicans already beat Pac. Quick question, when was the last time Pac beat an elite Mexican in his prime? ....and back to topic, PR will bounce back, they always do. Much faster and more often than Filipino boxing!
Tranquilo carnal, le estamos dando en la madre a los Boris pero no es para llevartela tan pesado. Asi como dices, si hay buena gente en todas partes. :good Viva Mexico! This has to be the worst slump in the great rivalry. I think Margarito still gots a chance to keep the streak alive for Mexico, that's if his eye socket can hold up. Hang in there Boricuas, :thumbsup you'll get your's but right now it's all about Viva Mexico!!!
let me see, the first line says "your little island is garbage" then you mentioned something about their mothers.
