The only person who should be ashamed is the ref.

 

So the fighter that delivered the low blows and said his opponent just couldn't take it should be proud of that?:huh yeah OK

No, he shouldn't be proud of that, but the ref should have DQ'd the fighter.

I havent seen the fight so I cannot comment. I still dont know what happened since its difficult to understand Freddy's posts.

thats why im saying you have to be more considerate on how to start a topic when putting race part of it... he should said all the boxing community should be ashame...just refering to all puerto ricans is wrong, he assumed that every puerto rican agreed with the decision, which hes very wrong of... some like myself know that the fight was wrong, so why say all puerto ricans, every boxing fan should be ashame esp. when it happends everywhere in the world, not just puerto ricans...

 

Well I can't answer for Freddy, But I'm assuming because this time it happened in PR where the majority of the crowd was applauding it. and it was the latest atrocity in boxing. I'm sure if it went down in Panama, he would of said "All Panamenios should be ashamed !!!!"

But you are right, maybe he can learn from the reaction he has received and next time direct it to the whole boxing community instead of the people of where the incident occured.

I don't see nothing wrong in his statement, but in the wake of the Margo/Cotto fight when alot of Bori's are still recovering from the traumatic loss, he should of been a little more sensitive to our "Hermanos Latinos". I don't think he ment any disrespect but he was a little fired up with the incident and didn't give it much thought as he should have before posting the thread and looking like a Bori hater.

 

that was just my advice... I agree with the point he was trying to make about being ashame, but the way he wrote it could've use some advice in the future... race is very sensitive in any topic of any discussion was just my point I was trying to get across... there was other cards that were pretty good, but just to focus on this one and criticize a certain race just because of this particular fight, it seem what some probably view it as him being wrong and offended, just because of the way he wrote this certain topic... he seems like a great boxing fanatic and no hard feelings against him, me being of puerto rican descent... just wanted to give him some advice for the future:good

Man, First, you need to understand that actually the Corridas and the big mexican bands are not music... Jesse I really hate that stupid music and the names of those bands,

Los Tigres del Norte, Banda el Recodo, etc etc etc... What kind of stupid names are those anyway?? Solve that issue and then come back to me with our Reggeaton... At least our music like the Reggeaton and the Salsa and world known and loved.
