not too surprising, ponce is probably the weakest overall champ mexico currently has.

I gotta feeling a white guy is going to beat a white guy in the next fight.

how many posts have been made about his terrible defense. now someone is surprised by him getting starched by someone with some pop, regardless of round. or do you think his defence gets worse as the fight progresses

Congratz to Lopez. My first time watching him.

Puerto Rico only got half the ticket tonight.

Too bad it ended early, with Ponce's bad defense and all. I would have liked to see what kind of chance he has with the 2 big Mexican names of the division.

I think it's safe to say either Rafa or Izzy would have starched Ponce something fierce.

As of right now, I got Izzy over everyone in that division. Hes a beast. Rafael is totally different though, I give JuanMa a great chance against him.

Man, I'm impressed. Ponce is what he is, but he's always been durable, and honestly he was looking pretty good until he got starched. JuanMa is the real deal.

He also has something Cotto doesn't... personality!

As much as I wanted Ponce to win I didn't think he was a match for Juanmanuel after watching a few Juanma clips. I knew Ponce's chin was average at best+ his defense equalled disaster.

I spoke to Ponce after the Canallero fight and he was frightened because he said his head was hurting days after the fight. He considered retirement.

Props to Juanma, he has great punches.

That was obvious one fighter was younger undefeated and taller.
Is this the type of match up that PR wins against Mexican ?
