What do you guys think? With the Hatton vs PBF and JC vs B-Hop it seems that a new rivalry is starting between the US and England and if you look at the Heavys we can also point out the US against European and Rusian fighters.

What is your favorite rivalry? Who would come up on top between PR vs Mexico's rivalry? :bbb

It does not have the longevity or history of the mesico vs PR rivalry. Pretty much the philipines has produced manny pacquiao who has been in some great fights with a lot of great mexican fighters.

That's a good one as well! But it's too early at this point since basically it has been PAC that has emerge from the Philipines. I hope the Philipines are able to produce at least 5 more Pac'mans in different weight clases so we can have a lot of more fun!! :happy

  5. The best rivalary, id say U.S and Great Britan, for example look next week the biggest fight of the year is a Yank against a Bloke..

I don't think you can beat PR vs Mex...It just doesn't get better than that. Although USA vs UK is getting good as of late. But nothing has the longevity that PR vs Mex does.

I'm glad you made this a thread Gandul, and yes Puerto Rico vs Mexico is the best and most exciting rivarly in boxing's history!! Honorable mentions to U.S./U.K and Mexico/Philipines, dont know if im missing any others, but Puerto Rico/ Mexico, is rich in history, excitement and drama, i wonder how many more great fights could there be if Puerto Rico were half as big as Mexico :!:

I would venture to say a Mexico vs USA (Mexican American) rivalry is a very good and underated one

    I hate these rivalries.
When the bell rings, its just the two fighters and the referee.

Hell yeah. I'm Rican but nothing would be more bad ass if Cubans were allowed to go Pro and compete and give Ricans and Mexicans some good ass fights. This sport would get such a HUGE boost from professional cuban fighters.

There are so many similarities personality wise between cubans and puerto ricans its not even funny. Cuba would be just another big version of Puerto Rican's pumping out quality boxer after quality boxer!
