Boxing, like time, is a flat circle.

I was referring to a specific undercard, the one for GGG-Murray. Tyson as of now is far more deserving of TV time I agree.

can only talk about the uk as i dont travel abroad , but the bbc /itv and then sky have always covered most of the big american fights when there was no british intrest at all.

late 70`s to present is my boxing tv span.
boxing was absolutley huge in the uk on free tv/ but because american fights are held at 5 am on sunday mornings in the uk they were shown on delay but still got huge numbers on granstand or harry carpenters wed 10pm slot

17 million would tune in to big fights
thats equivelent to 90 million americans watching a fight .

i used to go to cinemas to watch the big american fights live and despite them taking place at 6am they were jam packed.

ppv has killed the casual boxing fan / and boxings fanbase the world over.

germany has huge boxing numbers because unlike the uk and usa they show big fights primetime on major channels for free.
