And, unlike many of his modern contemporaries, Dagenhams Kevin Mitchell is being pitched in at the deep end with a contest which had all the earmarks of a potential fight-of-the-year candidate from the moment it was announced. To say that the British boxing community has looked forward to Mitchells tussle with Aussie hardman Michael Katsidis (26-2, 21KO) is a considerable understatement. Progress has been infuriatingly slow. I've backed Katsidis to get the stoppage, I just can't see Mitchell withstanding 12 rounds of non-stop pressure, and Katsidis is no Prescott either!
