You dont find it a tad suspicious he wont comply with another fighters request? Im not saying you, but there are plenty of posters here who cry about Pacquiao, Ward, Floyd, Hopkins and otherswhen they do the same thing. Is there a difference or is it just a superstars perogitive? Personally i think every fighter should fight under a single drug policy. Unfortunately this is impossible with different orgs, promoters and commisions. One of the main reasons there needs to be.a single, unified commision, no matter how difficult that may be to achieve.

 

a) You're incorrect. Wlad complied with other fighters requests before. Povetkins demanded random testing as Povetkins promoter was organizing the bout and thus able to set the terms.

b) Not at all. I'd do the same. Why would I care what kind of terms for random drug testing Pulev signed with Sauerland? That's Pulev's business and none of my concern at all. Contracts Pulev signs are his own decision and he has to bear the consequences. He can't bind others to decisions he made for himself.

 

Thats fair enough. Should be the same judgement for all fighters by the fans than, though i know that will never happen.

 

If I was Pulev I'd try to phase out this non-sense about testing, press conferences, tickets etc. All this won't help him, it's all irrelevant. He's doing himself a disservice by crying and moaning about how the deck is stacked against him.

What he should do is concentrate on knocking Wlad out. Plain and simple. Instead he's busy looking for excuses. He doesn't seem up to the task IMO.

I agree with this. No sense in dwelling on something youve already agreed to. Better to focus on the task at hand.

Actually, nothing in his phisique looks unreachable by human beings. What's suspect, if anything, it's his impressive stamina, but apart from that, in many gyms you find bigger man with lower body fat percentage.

 

Sauerland's old TV partner ARD forced the stable to do Olympic style drug testing. The contract with ARD will expire at the end of the year and I don't think that their new partner SAT1 will demand this high amount of tests.
So from 2015 on Sauerland's boxers will most likely be more competitive :roll:
