He's just underwhelming. Literally Wlad but worse at everything. Can't think of a more useless fighter.

He's a good HW... Excellent jab, in shape, high work rate, nice footwork... You don't dissect Ustinov, and Dimitrenko like that without being good. Thompson as well, that was a good performance. Scott faced an even older Thompson and could beat him as definitively as Pulev did.

Yeah, it's either going to be some very entertaining toughman -esque kind of action, or an extremely **** boring and sluggish fight that goes the distance.

Why not? It's not as if Helenius would lose to Bakhtov.

    I think so ,too!

He should fight someone like Rudenko,Hammer or Pala IMO.

Unfortunately I don't think it will be any of those guys, or anyone fighting at their level. Maybe they can get Sherman Williams though?

Pulev looked awful last fight but glad he is getting back into the ring relatively quickly.

of course Alex Ustinov had a fight scheduled
    and now it's cancelled...

he had fights with Fury and Kimbo Slice but
both pulled out of the fights...

I think Ustinov at this point does a number on Chisora, probably for Delboys best that one got called off. ****** dropped him as well. He's probably finished as a contender honestly.

You are right.Sherman Williams would be a good opponent for Pulev at this point of his career. He is durable and he makes you sweat in order to get a point victory.I would still prefer someone like Pala, but Sherman would be okay, too.

I don't think it will be him though. Pulev was scheduled to fight with the tank a few fights back when Joey Abel stepped in as a late replacement. The tank had pulled out last minute citing some excuse. I don't think Saurelands will be willing to take the risk with him pulling out again.

One thing I don't like is that we usually get to know the names of Pulev opponents just a week or two before the fight.
