Pulev backers say they will win purse bids for AJ fight

Not a chance AJ would fight there for an amount of money. That weasel and his weasel manager need every single item stacked their own favour to sign the dotted line.

 

Unless some unknown billionaire comes in a backs him not going to happen. 44K stadium is smaller than the 80-90K Joshua can fill plus the pricing for tickets in Bulagria will be far lower.

Most expensive tickets for Pulev/Fury was 150 lev I think, which is only £67.50 compared to £2000 for Joshua/Povetkin.

Also last time they were meant to fight it didn't go to purse bids, he took the fight for 5 mill, what's changed since then?

 

Highly unlikely, and if they really can then it wouldn't be very smart for obvious reasons.

 

Very good HW but he's too old now.. He was just unlucky to fight in prime Wlads era. I'd favour him over Parker or Whyte still tho.. Loved that Chisora schooling he put on a while back! Jabbed his over inflated head off..

 

I doubt they even end up with purse bids. I think they will squeeze a good deal out of Hearn.

 

I agree with you fight won’t happen there, but the that has changed is he has new backers in Bulgaria so Pulev will end up with more than 5 mill. All this talk of fight in Bulgaria is just to bring his fee up.

 

Pulev is already looking for a way out of the fight. Its possible they could be thinking of a way to make Joshua vacate the IBF belt.

 

I dont think he is old. He looked in the best shape of his life. He has not taken a beating except for the Wlad fight.

His backers got a lot of money. I dont think they can win the purse bid but Pulev has a lot of rich friends I can see them putting up a challenge for the purse?
I think they offered doubled what Hearn pitched for the Whyte fight

 

Pulev looked like he did in the Ustinov and Dimintrinko fights.

Pulev wasn't expecting the illegal bouncy castle ring Wlad fought him on , which explains why his in-out movement was non-existent.
Rewatch the fight and look at the canvas. They were sunk into it!

WK tried to fight Fury on the same illegal spongy ring but Fury wasn't having any of it.

 

37 is old for any fighter. Plus he's been pretty inactive... Hughie Fury just isn't as advertised. Decent but nothing spectacular..

 

You're right that makes perfect sense. Smart move actually by Pulev, should be able to squeeze a few mill more out of Hearn.
