Alot of people still beat jennings. Offensively he is quite limited, defensively sound and tough, with speed. 84inch reach gone to waste because squares up. Pulev would outjab jennings, just as klitchko did.
Jennings did well, but remember Thompson was outboxing wladmir and landing more. Jennings will find it hard against pulev, who may have a better jab than wlad nowadays. seriously.
Jennings isnt limited offensively, watch his fight with Szpilka. Tonight he fought more defensively than he normally does as it was the right thing to do vs Wlad. Pulev is good, but I dont know if hes still active. He got the big buck and appears to be inactive since.
Jennings isn't a power puncher though He had trouble with journeyman Andriy Fedsov and only has a 50% KO rate. Dont get me wrong, he has a lot of physical gifts, and can box a little bit, but he's not this monster all of a sudden now
Jennings is no monster thats for certian. id pick wilder to KO pulev, but jennings with little power would struggle.
If Pulev fights the way he did vs Wlad, all open, Jennings`s enormous reach will catch him clean very frequently. Pulev didnt show anything that indicated he can adapt different styles. Thompson was limited defensively and he could barely win on points vs him. Jennings right now with his youth is a better Thompson and thats pretty good in todays HW division.
Pulev is a bum of the first order. As a matter of fact, since Vitalle and Lewis left there hasn't been a decent heavyweight.
Jennings is definitely no monster. However, he is tough and seems to have a much better chin than Pulev, which is why I think that he will KO the overrated Bulgarian.
