Why is it stronger? Both Klitsckos would beat Wilder and Joshua, and second tier fighters like Povetkin or Pulev are almost 40 and still in top 10.

Whatever. Pulev v Joshua next please. If it's anything like Wlad/Pulev it will be fun while it lasts.

I don't think it will last very long.

To be honest I think Wlad carried him to some degree. He stopped throwing the left hook after he first dropped him, had he kept throwing it that fight would of ended much quicker.

Joshua isn't as cautious as Wlad, he'll likely feel Pulev out for a round, step it up a little in round 2 and if Pulev survives that go for the kill in round 3. I will be surprised if it goes beyond 3 rounds and I'm not one that thinks Joshua is KO's everyone quickly, though Takam would go 10 rounds, Parker would go to points or late KO and Povetkin would last 7 rounds which he did.

Pulev simply has nothing to hurt Joshua with and more importantly nothing to keep Joshua off him with. Takam and Parker moved and Pulev is not a good mover. Povetkin is faster and is harder to read and hits harder so kept Joshua from walking through him. Pulev in contrast is slower, shorter, has no inside game and can't tie the bigger Joshua up.

Yep, to me it also looked like Wlad adopted Vitalys sadistic approach and wanted to punish Pulev for many rounds. He almost had Pulev knocked out in the beginning, but kept giving him a chance to come back into the fight only to drop him again. It was like a cat playing with a mouse.
Joshua probably KOs Pulev easily, because Pulev doesn't move well

AJ beat Wlad, its debatable if a younger Wlad could beat AJ (remeber Wlad came in the lightest he has in years for his fight with AJ.

Povetkin aside who may be the tougbest challenger that anyone has take on out of the 4 Of Wlad, Vitali, AJ and Wilder. Whilst the opponents of Parker, Ortiz, Whyte, Fury and Takam are much stronger opposition title challengers than Leapai, Pianeta, Wach, Thompson, Danny Williams, Kevin Johnson , Juan Carlos Gomez, Brock, Austin, Sosnowski, Arreola, Char and a past it Briggs.

AJ went life and death with a 41 year old Wlad, I don't think it's debatable if a younger Wlad would beat AJ.
Lewis would KO AJ early and big Vitaly would make him cry.

The only reason the old guys are still top contenders are because they are fighting nobodies. They are clinging onto what they were.
Povetkin proved himself back in 2015. But then there was a step down in opposition, while maintaining a high ranking.
Old Povetkin and Pulev being in mandatory spots has more to do with the ABC's bull**** than the divisions strength.

If more of these guys would be fighting each other we would see a stronger division. The old men would be weeded out, as would the undeserving contenders.

I'm a big AJ fan and yes I agree, Wlad in his prime was a better fighter and would of beaten him 100%. Joshua always has a punchers chance but Wlad has to be a big favourite.

Lewis is a level above Joshua and likely always will be, he was such so much better is many areas.

Vitali wouldn't make him cry, but he'd have him gassing out bad. Joshua couldn't keep up with his pace and would be made to miss badly vs Vitali. Vitali moves too well laterally and out boxes him and stops a tired Joshua late.

That obviously wasn't prime Wlad, once he perfected his style with Steward he was a different animal and this is coming from a big Wlad critic. Only time I've ever rooted for Wlad was when he fought Fury, rest of the time I was hoping he'd get KO'ed.

Wlad was down 5 rounds against a novice, pre-prime Joshua and only found success because Joshua momentarily gassed out gong for the finish.
Being too heavy also likely contributed to him gassing out , but that weight issue has been corrected since. 255 is too heavy for Joshua and the extra weight effected his stamina. Lewis was also slow and sluggish when he weighed 255 against Vitali.
A lighter , quicker on his feet and more experienced Joshua doesn't fatigue and get dropped with a right hand.
Wlad in his 'prime' spent way too much time engaging in clinches and that only favors AJ who has the inside skill to overcome it.
The way AJ outboxed Wlad straight for the first 5 round doesn't suggest any Wlad would beat him "100%".
AJ has a puncher chance , but he also has more dimensions to his game being an inside and an outside fighter.
    2 dimesions beats one dimension
    strong chin beats weak chin
    good stamina beats poor stamina

AJ didn't improve or changed his style since Wlad fight, so we don't know if the current Joshua is pre prime or prime. Tyson matured early as well, but was past prime when he was still young.
If prime Vitaly for ex. would go life and death with 41 Holyfield, I can't imagine what kinda **** you would post here lol
