Turned 37 couple of weeks ago.

Had only one fight last year vs 37yr old Kevin Johnson who lost 5 out of 7 before he fought Pulev and was TKOd by Petar Milas recently ffs.

Inactive for about 13 months now.

The Whyte fight not on the line, purse bid delayed. It does not look like he is motivated af to fight a big name these days.

    His fights before:
    - 36yr old Samuel Peter
    - SD win vs Chisora
    - 39yr old Maurice Harris (26W-20L-3D)
    - 41yr old George Arias who lost 2 out of 3 before facing Pulev in 2016

Pulev is declining, i don't know if we'll see him in a ring again. He did not fought a big name for about 4 years (Wlad KO) and prob he quit from that point after getting KOd for the first time.

I do not think Pulev is a real threat right now. I am not sure he gets past Whyte who is definitely one of the weakest Top 10 HWs out there. Pulev fought some old and shot to bids fighters in the last years, he didn't even look that good tbh and now he is quite inactive for a while. Signs are clear. I do not rate him as a Top 10 HW right now if i have to think about him, can't see him beat names like Parker, Ortiz, Miller or Povetkin who are looked quite good in their recent fights.

I hope not, I can’t stand the way in which this guy cherry picks, dodged big fights and makes heavyweight fights dull.

Wlad took his soul he's been going through the motions for a while. Didn't realise he'd been inactive for so long at 37 that's not a good sign. I'd favour Whyte now to beat him as he's been out for so long. IBF still having no luck making a final eliminator, isn't this the 3rd time they've tried to put one together and now it's being delayed.

Sauerland has been mismanaging him I have to say. Kalle is awesome but with Pulev they did a horrible job just like when they had Povetkin.

he is in the who needs him club
missed his chance v AJ and team AJ were concerend in the build up to the fight that he would pull out hence they had takam training on standby.

his style has changed from aggressive to jab and grab / while still effective he is not entertaining at all anymore and team sauerland are clearly at a crossroads with him whether to throw money at an opponent and back him and get him a title shot or simply let him fade away with the odd low key fight.

IMO whyte fight will never happen

hearn has no need for whyte to fight him its up to hearn if he wants to see joshua v whyte 2 he does not need an aliminator for him to do that and hearn also might be reluctant given the WBC just took his sanctioning fees for a whyte eliminator v browne and then said whyte was no longer mandatory.

pulev tried hard v wlad / but it left scars mentally and you can see it in the way he fights now and how he fought before wlad.

if we can see it then his promoters and trainers definatley know.

I think we'll see him in an easy fight and then one more cashout.
Clearly wasted most of his career after the Wlad KO loss.

His last fight was against Kevin Johnson, you cant get easier then that lol.
Pulev lost his bottle when it came to fighting Joshua and didn't want none..he would do the same with Whyte.

Like people have already said, Wladamir 100% took Pulevs soul that night he destroyed him. Pulev dont want it no more!

Abslutely. Right after the Klitschko fight he wanted to leave them, but he never did.

You reckon Whyte goes for Ortiz?

I can't see Whyte/Pulev unify their claims so it makes sense although Whyte would get destroyed by Ortiz.

He made a fortune against Wlad and has a cartoonishly hot wife to distract him from training, so no, we probably won't see him in any important matches again.

Pulev is happy enough to fight once in a while now in a full stadium in Bulgaria, he does not care about the world title anymore. He made a fortune against Wlad, certainly to live in Bulgaria. I heard he made approx 1 million euros for his fights against Johnson and Peter, not bad at all for an easy day at the office...
