True, but Pulev doesn't have good movement, he never has. It's why he had to clinch so much against Chisora and Arias, his feet aren't quick enough to get him out of the way. Joshua just needs to get past the jab like Wlad did and once he does get off first and he'll have Pulev out of there sooner rather than later.

Good footwork and movement is such an overlooked attribute it can often be a game changer.

Revisionist history. Pulev did not dominate Chisora. Chisora when he had energy to fight won those moments. Plus Chisora was much more determined against Whyte. I did not see Chisora dig to the body on Pulev. Also Whyte doesn't clinch excessively like Pulev does. At best Pulev is slightly better but that's why he's in the bottom half of the real top 10 heavyweights. Pulev gets KO'd or loses wide to any of the top 5. He has solid backing, what looked like a sold out arena in his home country was a bit of a statement.

No chit Sherlock... Just like there are many types of punches , there are many types of clinches , legal and illegal.
You can't constantly hug and grope to nullify a guys offence. Those tactics are simply not tolerated anywhere outside of Germany or outside K2s jurisdiction.
Molina went in for a clinch last night and Steve Gray had to momentarily halt the action to warn him not to do it again.
There's a high likelihood Pulev would have been DQ'd if he was in the ring last night. . If he abandoned his holding Del woulda stayed in his chest and worked away scoring points and winning the rounds. Its up to Pulev to beat him back on the inside -which he can't - or keep him on the outside.. Holding and separating with the aid of his ref is bogus boxing.

Chisora's weight is recorded on Boxrec idiot. Learn to read numbers. Chisora was 241 pounds against Pulev, but heavier and out of shape at 250 against Whyte.

Bull****. Pulev wouldn't have been DQd in anywhere. Even 2 points deduction would've been pushing it. Chisora lost the majority of the rounds by trying to find home for his jab, staying over the ropes and looking to land a overhand counter shot.

He'd have been DQ'd in 2 rounds against Arias if the rules were enforced on him. :qmeparto:

I suggest you take a year out and return when you are better qualified to post on this forum.. I don't want you to get upset now.. Im only thinking in your best interests :xmas2::xmas:

Its understandable that somebody would think that sort of boxing was perfectly legal if all they ever saw was K2 and Sauerland shows:drooling:

Not as understandable as some dumb loser believing that every time there's clinching, there should be a DQ if he spent his entire life obsessing with and looking for flaws in one certain fighter.

Pulev didn't easily beat Chisora. It was a competitive split dec where Pulev was stationary and basic against a fat, disinterested opponent. Pulev's performed poorly in his comeback and on a H2H basis is fringe top 10, if that. He no longer has the lateral movement or the defense to avoid Joshua's punches and doesn't possess the power to get his respect.

Bollocks mate Pulev is much more.mobile than joshua... Also Chisora weight for pulev fight was better than yestarday... and except Wlad Pulev has easy fights versus bigger fighters than him... Dimitrenko 6ft7 , Ustinov 6ft 8 , Thompson 6ft5 he do not have problems to land on bigger guys damn he even landed on klitschko and joshua doesn't need a massive punch to go down pulev has respectable power he's just not finisher

Pulev beat Chisora by illegal clinch fest.. He couldn't even tackle some 40 y/ o Brazilian Bum without constant holding a few fight before.
Let the guy work inside and these guys are like fishes out of water

More times than I'd be bothered to count, and certinly more times than I said excessive clinching is perfectly legal.
