If Peter is even half of what he used to be... He'll pose some problems early. Been over 5 years since he's been a meaningful fight though, and while he's whipped himself into decent shape the fact that he let himself go for so long won't help him here. That said... I have a feeling we're going to a better fight than most expect. Here's to hoping!

Near 0 interest. Peter is nearly completely shot. Should not be competitive.

Peter never had trouble taking a shot.
Pulev aint exactly a Klitschko in the power department or the Haye in the speed dept.
Pulev could get a stoppage here if he can keep Sam right at the end of his 1-1-1-2, then try to tire Sam out when he manages to win hooks en route to getting to the inside.

Sam picked the wrong contender if he's looking for a title run, but it should be noted that a high profile name has got to be filling the seats in Kubrats homecoming, which is undoubtedly a solid payday for even the opponent.

Bizarre fight. Pulev ducked Joshua for this farce. Disappointing, if he wanted to fight a past it lard, he should have fought Solis. What's the point?

Apparently he wasn't offered enough money. Looking to wait until next year when he's promoted to #1 challenger. Assuming Joshua/Parker is made, he'll probably face the winner of that for a bigger payday.

Peter's a 35 y/o contender who's been in as many wars as his country.

From Wlad 1- Helenius, a string of ultra tough journeymen, HOFers, a couple of ATGs, and a few genuinely potent prospects has been his path.
    Wlad X2
    Vitali
juiced tot he gills Toney X2
    Maskaev
    prime McCline
    fast Eddy
    Aguilera
    Pulev

Thats a helluva a resume for someone who's ALWAYS carried a few extra on the legs and upper body.

And the winner of Pulev Peter will be a genuine test for the winner of Parker Ruiz Jr.
Not some soft defense like Molina, Arreola, Szpilka.

Sauerland has been making a living from promoting mismatches and selling them to their gullible German fans as 'genuine matchups'. In this case Bulgarian fans but the point still stands.

Pls boxing Gods, let one of those Wild hooks from Samuel land on that fragile chin of Pulev early at the fight.

Guaranteed Pulev will be on ***** streets. I hate Pulev...
