Peter just happy to be in front of a decent sized crowd again and in the main event. Kind of sad when I think about it but that's boxing.

More like a RTD. He didn't want to come out from his corner for the 5th.

Pay day for Peter. How else can he afford his hamburger diet?

Yeah, that was an injury pull-out and Peter was greatly out of shape... didn't look like he trained at all for this fight.

Collected a paycheck.. and got hurt doing it. Sad to see a guy that faded.

270 pounds of muscle? Do you mean when he weighed 350 pounds?

Of course Peter will be dangerous if he lands. Old Foreman still had that one punch KO power. As they say, it's the last thing to go.

The point is, if Pulev is smart, he will box and tire out Peter. This might take between 25 seconds and 5 rounds, after which he can start opening up on Peter. If Pulev can't keep clear of Peter's haymakers he isn't even a worthy contender, which doesn't seem to be the case.

Therefore, boring fight as the outcome is very predictable. Although it would be quite amusing to see them slug it out Hagler Hearns style until Pulev gets KTFO or Peter passes out from exhaustion.

I'm glad half-shot geriatric Wlad knocked Pulev to the moon after seeing this krap matchmaking . ..

Thats his style! He has a beautiful jab,one of the best in the business. However,Pulev has never been a very exciting fighter to watch.Sure,he isnt the most boring heavy out there either but you cant teach an old dog a new trick or change a fighter's style at this very late point of time in the career of the Bulgarian heavy.Besides he has been quite successful with his style so far.
Sadly,he has never been very popular outside his native Bulgaria and is even quite underrated by a lot of knowlegdeable fight fans here on esb.
Just compare Wilder's inflated and pathetic fight record with Pulev's one,and Wilder is a reigning champ!

the video clips prove this was not as bad as some make it out to be. i mean, rahman/povetkin was awful, hasim had no legs and no business in there. at least u can say and see Sammy was trying.

Peter was a fat disgrace who quit after 3 rounds. He didn't even try, just came to pick up his paycheck. Really disgusting.

Pulev really took a bad hammering from Wlad 2 years ago. He's obviously being matched extremely carefully to re-build his confidence, but fights like this are probably counter-productive. When he gets in the ring with an AJ or a Parker or Wilder he'll have been ill-prepared.
