Most likely scenario is that Pulev is fighting absolute nobodies because he already has the mandatory spot lined up. It makes absolutely no sense to risk a career high pay day (which at some point in the near future will occur with wlad) against a top contender who has a chance of winning. No knock on Pulev he has beat some decent fighters to get the mando but it is clear as day that he intends to sit on it until a wlad fight materializes

What would you do if you were him? That`s a man`s dream of life. Would you risk everything just for the sport?

No I was simply stating why he is choosing to go this route, it sucks for the fans as there are plenty of contenders I would love to see him fight. He earned the mando and has every right to wait on his shot

    :deal

Like i said. $10K offered is why Pulev is always fighting TBA's. The whole thing about being this scray ducked fighter is BS. His promoters are causing this.

How much do you think Elijah deserves? And based on what? Mago earned 40k in his fight with Perez and that was a fight between top 30 fighters. McCall jr is somewhere in top 300 in boxrec!

    Is he?????

Cuz if McCall actually did back out, Briggs would have no toruble getting liscenced over there, and even though Thompson is likely the better overall fighter, prime for prime, it would still be a legit 2 time titlist on Khans resume.:think

Nobody thinks Elijah McCall deserves 40k for this fight, but Monsour was offering 25K to top 100s when he was headlining club fights in Delware.

Team Pulev just needs to loosen the purse strings a bit, and get Kubrat more active if they wanna reap the dividends of his name.:think

 I am really suspicious about that.

If you consider the fact that it would cost around $3k alone to fly himself and his trainer out you can see why $10K is nothing. This does not include any cut man 2nd assistant, food, hotel etc. I dont value McCall highly but clearly this would make no sense.

But what will appear in the media is the Sauerland PR machine making claims this fighter and that fighter were offered fights but ducked Pulev.

They usually cover all expenses for air ticks and hotels. The reason Tank Williams to reject the fight with Pulev was that they offered him flights just 2 or 3 days before the fight.
