You are a aj fan so no point trying to reason with you but his not the best ever llike use think he is big and basic with power that doesn't move his head thats why his almost been knocked out twice and anyone with a brain knows klitschko was a shell and let aj off the hook because he couldn't pull the trigger anymore and am not saying Ortiz is great but his dangerous enough for them to choose Pulev over him and that only my opinion

All fighters get criticism but aj fans cant handle it if anyone says his not the greatest the hypes unreal

    LOL...almost knocked out twice?

Whyte didn't even knock him down nevermind out and Wlad may have knocked him down he still wasn't close to being knocked out.

You want to know why I'm an AJ fan?

Because he's the only heavyweight in world boxing who is trying to help the sport progress.

You'd be also wise to remember that AJ didn't 'chose' Pulev, he is his Mandatory.

Ortiz had a fight with Wilder scheduled....but he tested positive, again.

    Nah.

Pulev wanted a nice big payday to retire on, which is fair enough. I don't think he's that bothered about winning the fight but he'll still want the payday.

Well it doesn't look like he's going to get it any time soon and Takam, a man thoroughly deserving of an AJ payday is. **** Pulev, he's for my money the most overrated contender of the last 10 years.

This. He could've pulled a Charles Martin. Show up and quit as soon as Joshua lands anything hard and get paid millions of dollars.

Yeah I don't particularly rate him as a fighter either. I don't think he'd deserve that either but 5 million pounds is a large sum of money lol. Can't think of many who would turn that down, Wilder perhaps.

Wilder def. As for 'turning it down' Hearn has claimed that that is total BS which to me sounds pretty plausible. I bet they've only paid the same or less for Takam and were glad they didn't have to deal with Kubrat '6 month camp, not selling any tickets or ppv' Pulev anymore.

He had plenty of time after the klitcshko fight to make the best mandatory Ortiz but choose the easy fight he was gift wrapped that title

    Pulev was injured.
Correctly, whether it was his decision or on Hearn's direction, he won't be fighting Joshua.
    There's nothing to complain about.
If he had fought Joshua injured we'd have something to complain about.

I just hope it is true that Takam has been in training for several weeks.

At the end of the day, of the 3 main belt holders (AJ, Wilder and Parker) the guy with the least pro fights, also has the best pro resume, the biggest backing and is the biggest draw.

    Where's Parker and Wilder at?

If AJ retires today, he's made more cash than those 2 will in their entire career.

If he chose to fight Ortiz, he'd be fighting a lesser opponent than Takam you fool.

Ortiz is banned for 6 months.

The cheat shouldn't be allowed a title shot.

If he is banned he wasn't banned when he could of made the fight Ortiz has way more tools to trouble him then takem if he was nothing they would of fought him am not even a big Ortiz fan but there's a reason his been waiting around forever because they saw him against Jennings and if he shows up his trouble but your a aj fan so you probably think molina was a good opponent takem isn't a bad opponent but if you think his gonna have had a great full camp because hearn or aj say so
