Do you think a young inexperienced fury would be able to keep AJ away for 12 rounds? Totally agree fury is awkward and could make AJ look bad but could you see fury knocking AJ out? As i don’t think he would win on points vs AJ if he didn’t get the descion against Parker that’s my reasoning for not wanting the hughie AJ fight,I want to see the best fight the best but the boxing politics are to bad to see that happen

I agree, I think Hughie would likely beat him on points and not get the decision. Stylewise I agree, he would give Joshua fits. Fight I would love to see.

Fury beat Parker in my opinion. Yes he showed inexperience but seems to have made good adjustments v Sexton. Now is his chance to implement that v a top heavyweight, if he does he will be ready for AJ.

I'm with you on this, I can't stand hughies running style so I hope he loses on Saturday.

Mr Excitement with another boring post - what is inaccurate about the post given both careers to date?

Maybe you would be more suited to something other than a Boxing Forum - may I suggest you start off with 12 piece Jigsaw puzzles until you get the hang of them

I agree he should have got the W but didn’t he had to take the title from Parker but just tried to box and move that made Parker the aggressor,

Here’s a question do you think hughie fury would beat some one like joe joyce? Or even the European champion ajit kaybal?
I hope hughie fury does win I just think it’s being for a shot at AJ is a bit much

In terms of fighting in front of crowds of 80,000, I don’t think any active fighter can match the experience AJ has. They’ve had the same amount of pro fights though and both had success in amateur ranks....what i’ll add to that is that due to his heritage, Hughie learned how to fight long before he stepped inside a gym.

Should Hughie get through Pulev and the manner in which he does it, we could be talking very differently about a potential fight between him and AJ.
I think a man of 230ib can knock out a man of 245ib absolutely if he throws a shot with his full weight behind it at the right moment in a fight. Admittedly, Hughie is quite cautious and doesn’t sit on his shots so I agree it’s unlikely he knocks AJ out. I do think there’s a possibility he could frustrate and stifle AJ’s work for 12 rounds though.

We’ll be able to judge the prospect of a potential fight much more after Saturday night. Going to Bulgaria will be v tough and a defeat will set him back a few years in terms of a shot at a world title. Should he beat Pulev, then people are going to have to take him very seriously.

Some sources said nearly 3m although the likely number was 1.5m. Moog’s point still stands, that’s an unbelievable number

Joyce is tailor made for Hughie Fury, he would beat him easy. Stylewise the euro champ would be harder but he would beat him as that guys a cheap version of Hughie Fury. If i were Pulev I would have got him to spar for thus fight. If Fury gets beating of Pulev in Bulgaria deserves Joshua fight.
