Looks like the dreadful Dimitrenko v Pulev II matchup talk may have been premature. Purse bid for Miller Pulev on July 28. Miller won't be getting a voluntary title shot in the foreseeable future after all. So if he is comfortable taking a risky fight for peanuts in Bulgaria, which he seems to be, then he could get a lucrative mandatory spot.

Who ya got? I think it's about 50/50, but sense that Pulev is ready to be plucked. Miller tko 11.

pulev pretty much pissed away his prime. if miller won't go take this fight, he doesn't deserve a title shot. miller should win.

Miller by TKO inside 8 rounds. Pulev has had 3 fights in nearly 3 years, is 37, and hasn't put away a decent opponent in years. This will be a replay of Miller vs Washington, Miller will beat up and retire Pulev.

Could be right.......something about Miller coming in bigger an bigger each time and talking about cheeseburgers really gets my back up.I know it’s the HW division and he can do as he pleases but every time I see him on the scales I wanna puke lol.

Hopefully Miller changes his mind and agrees to the fight, there was talk of it earlier in the year and he wasn't interested. But with Joshua/Wilder with possible rematch and then the Povetkin mandatory it's his best path to a title shot rather than the voluntary he had hoped for.

I don't rate Miller as highly as some but Pulev looked dreadful vs Johnson, he should be able to grind out a win as long as Pulev isn't allowed to clinch his way to a decision.

    I agree with this.

At his best Pulev blows Miller away but he's been looking worse and worse. Miller is nothing special but he's got heart and comes to fight. I think Pulev might be on the way out.

Close to 50/50 imo, Pulev has a big payday if he wins which might motivate him.

Nobody wants to fight Pulev , no body wants to be a billionaire.Pulev needs a tough fight , to become a mandatory , not some Dimitrenko's. It will be between Miller , Hughie Fury , Wallin or Kabayel i guess.

Don't see why Miller needs to fight in Bulgaria. He has HBO dollars behind him.

He's also been marketed to appeal to the US audience by being matched with Europeans.

Pulev as an opponent fits the bill in that regard.

Big Baby takes care of him no problem if the fight is in NYC.

    No sleep till Brooklyn.

A lot of these euro guys outside of Germany and Moscow need to take a good look at what Dillian Whyte has just done, or Joseph Parker. New Zealander, lives and trains in Vegas and is fighting out of London. No one wants to go to Bulgaria for the same reason no one wanted to go to New Zealand. The fans, the money, the potential and big fights are in London, New York, Vegas and to a lesser extent, Germany and Moscow. Pulev is going to have a very hard time getting anyone, including Miller, to go to Bulgaria without the right money.

Agreed Pulev looked dreadful vs Johnson, close to being shot, he's ready to be taken and I think even he knows it which is maybe why he went behind his own promoters back and did a deal with Epic to ensure the fight would be in Bulgaria where he could influence the outcome of the fight.
