It has been that way for Odin knows how long. Remember the Valuev days, with a constant recycle of old names mixed with obscure HW's?

It was a constant Ruiz, Chagaev, Valuev 3 way circle for a long while if I remember correctly.

I think they need to find someone who will draw some money even against Oquendo. They had a hard time generating $$ for the Briggs fight. As long as all these people fight each other and bring the equation down to 1 eventual holder over the next 8-12 months, who then fights for the top WBA belt, then Pulev being in it serves a purpose ... which is to sort out this mess one way or another.

And in totally unsurprising news Pulev turns out to be the overhyped ***** made fake contender we all knew him to be.

Seriously **** that guy. It'd be funny as **** if he lost to the big O and then missed out on the Joshua payday only to not be able to claim some bogus world title.

You know what they say if all you fight are bums then you will become one. One of these cherry picks will upset him sooner or later. If he take this Oquendo fight the combined age of his last three opponents is 119 ffs.

I really wonder if Pulev will throw his "drug testing fit" that he pulled vs. Wlad in the build-up to Oquendo. Pulev accused Wlad numerous times of PED abuse, yet failed to provide any proof. I think Pulev skipped one of the pressers vs. Wlad out of protest for Wlad's "unwillingness to get tested".

Oquendo has been exposed for PED abuse previously, yet I have a feeling Pulev won't even mention it and won't demand any tests from Oquendo.

Why? You think he would get a rematch with Pulev for some reason?

Come on guys take a look from a different angle. Finally the WBA case will be solved. Oquendo is terrorising this title for quite long time. Pulev was injured yes, so what do you really expect from him??? Waiting 9 months for another shot at Joshua or what? Getting rid of Oquendo will be awesome for the HW division. Anyways Pulev will face Joshua next year and will get beaten. Pulev is a way better option than Oquendo, Ustinov or Charr.

Pulev was verging on irrelevancy before this. Now he needs to be dropped from every credible ranking body's top ten. What an absolute pussay this man has become. Good God.

Pulev will knock Oquendo out. Oquendo has been over the hill for years, how did he get a shot at the title?
