No, Pulev is not an idiot - he is a champion. What are you then? You don't even qualify for an idiot. You are just plain loser and a racist.

Wrong, Pulev is a mandatory - Klicnchko has no other choice but to fight him or vacate the IBF belt which he is never going to do...

Pulev beats him. Perez' defense and movement isn't good enough to avoid Pulev's jab, while it would be very difficult for him to get to Pulev. Mike had a pretty entertaining fight with Mago, but in reality he showed in that fight to be a limited boxer himself.

    Pulev.
Bigger, stronger, with a solid chin, and knows how to fight from the outside.

Perez wins one competitive fight and suddenly he is the next big star. Pulev will not stay in front of him to get hit like Mago. The Khan stays at distance and jabs him to submission.

Here I am saying this and I will stay with this for a long time. Perez is nothing special. He has poor defense and he is kind of fatty. In long term he will detiorate. It is fuuny to read about hyping him so much.

I voted for Perez but only marginally so. If Pulev establishes his jab, Perez will lose. It's just that Perez is much more fluid than anyone Pulev has faced up to date. His rigidity can be his downfall in this match-up.

A typical recency bias. It happens all the time.

But Pulev is the best there is to fight, not Perez.

Ray Charles can see Perez is the best out there and he's blind. And dead. A dead blind man can see this situation better than you can. Think about that for a second.

Ah yes, thanks, forgot he was a LHW. He also competed at HW before turning pro, though, didn't he? Had a rivalry with his fellow Cuban defect Luis Ortiz, yes? There were a few years' overlap where he and Pulev could have conceivably met, then. I'll take your word they never did though.

I am guessing the reason he didn't represent Cuba in Athens in 2004 was because he took a backseat to Yoan Pablo Hernandez? Did he lose a qualifier to him or was YPH simply more established by then? Perez would've only been 19...
