Pulev would be the favorite, but Perez is capable of an upset.

Pulev was a heavyweight in the amateurs so they may have met but i dont think so, tbh i actually dont know why he never went to the olympics but id say it was because he was number 2 thats probably also why he defected as he wasnt number 1 anymore ! He beat Kenny Egan on a wide margin scoreline in the Four Nations Team vs Cuba some years back he was class act, that was the only time i seen compete as an amateur although i think hes world junior champion aswel so great boxing pedigree

Id probably favor the underdog here to be honest, I think Perez is the better fighter, and would win if there were non bias judges.

    Perez UD

Pulev would beat Perez, no doubt about it.............but Pulez should fight Wilder ASAP if he can get Wilder into a ring with him, but Wilder will never fight a ranked, good heavyweight, he doesn't have to. He got ranked #3 WBC without fighting anyone even nearly ranked. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I can understand that you´re scared of Wilder. With his size, speed and power, he´s a real threat to Wladimir´s glass jaw.

Good match up, Perez is a small heavyweight and this plus his lack of conditioning will prove to be his demise. I'd still give him a decent chance vs pulev since the big guy really does nothing special other than having some good fundamentals. Interesting to see those pointing out the Irish mans defensive deficiencies....have you ever seen him in previous fights the dude is usually much harder to hit you can surely tell he changed his approach for the nationally televised fight.

Bash black praise white:-(. Man shut up about Wilder in every damn post. He is ranked #3 by the WBC deal with it.

I don't hear you bitching about fragile Boytsov being ranked so high?? Boytsov has fought nothing but tomato cans as well. It is all about race to you.

Perez has way better boxing skills than the 3 guys you mentioned plus we know he can take a decent shot, even though hes small he'll outbox Pulev ! Pulev wouldnt take that fight anyway so all the arguing in the world wont make a difference !

Pulev would beat any american HW.... Arreola, Jennings, Wilder, Johnson, Ruiz, Scott etc all lose to the almighty Pulev.

I agree the American heavyweight seen is the worst it has ever been, even their amateurs coming through arent looking too good
