Aye, he'll batter Pulev to **** I reckon. No room for a robbery or anything like that. Pulev is absolutely crap
Definitely. I don’t see Pulev making it to the scorecards at this late stage of his career. He might drag it out a bit using crafty veteran tactics and such, but eventually I think Wardley will take him out.
I met Pulev in east London when he was over for the Chisora rematch. He’s obviously long past his peak as a competitive athlete but the bloke has an edge to him. I’ve heard the rumours of organised crime connections in Bulgaria, and have no doubt he’s a handful. At this stage of their careers though, I don’t think he goes 5 rounds with Fabio.
Barring the Clarke draw he's come up with the goods so far but I'm still not 100% sold on Wardley and wouldn't be surprised if Pulev at the very least makes him look bad for a couple of rounds.
Shocking, wasn't he. All the fans, who probably didn't even bother to watch much of the Euro dross he was involved with over the years, just parroted the same thing about a jab. He landed one good jab across about 15 rounds of world title action.
Very poor fighter from the first fight I set eyes on him live - O2 World Hamburg November 2014. The arena had a big contingent of Ivans supporting him but he looked even worse than Whyte at Wembley Stadium.
Pulev was solid/ very good in his prime. He probably dominated a young Chisora more dominantly than anybody. The timing is right for a Wardley win by KO though, Pulev is nearly 44! But make no mistake about it - in Pulevs prime, Wardley wouldn't have had a prayer, his face would have been jabbed off all night long and then he'd be stopped late.
lol nah that was Fury. But Pulev did easily beat him in really boring fashion. He was also robbed the second time the way I see it, but he was gone by that point and still beat him.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/articles/c07zjkj2g05o Wardley vacted British title and I heard warren saying David Adelaye vs that other bloke will be for the belt.
