Pulev wants one more fight before Klitchko

Pulev is wise if he takes a fight before fighting Vlad. Vlad will knock him out no matter what he does, but after Klitschkos retire, he would do very well. He could fight Wilder, since Wilder is tall, knock him out, but Wilder would never fight him. He could fight some tall fighter for rehearsal...........

 

If I was Pulev's manager I'd say pick a well-known name with no chance of beating him to build up some notoreity.

Can't rule out a Dimitrenko rematch as preparation for Wlad. But that would be pretty risky.

 

Grant would be more dangerous than Wilder! There is also Tye Fields.......

pulev - chagaev seems a gd fight for kubrat

 

Pulev had to drop his EU title, cause the IBF would not allow him to fight anyone else before the eliminator fight. Not sure whether he can fight anyone now, before Wlad. Would make more sense to try and push the Wlad fight sooner, rather than risk his shot.

 

why not dennis bahktov? decent fighter, but probably no danger to pulev.

 

It will no doubt be an easy tune up, just like Povetkin did before his bout with Klitschko.

It needs to be an easy stay busy fight. A squash match where Pulev scores a big KO would be cool. Sorta like Mcneely vs Tyson.

 

Before Chisora, the EBU had appointed a rematch with Dimitrenko but he pulled out not willing to fight Kubrat again.

 

He might take a stay busy fight in Bulgaria against a tomato can. He expressed desire to fight in Bulgaria and they are ot gonna risk it against a solid gate keeper like Chisora IMAO.

 

Just saw an interview with Pulev, he mentioned that officially the title is dropped but they haven't given the belt yet He also mentioned that most likely someone from Sauerland will fight Chisora for the EBU.

 

If he fights in BG its going to be huge around here. At least 15k people will come.

 

exactly it will generate nice money and it will be good to get him into camp soon. He looked a bit chuby in his last fight, not at his physical best IMAO. He even seemed tired himself around round 7-8 when Thompson was swarming him and hiting him to the body.
