After the terrible beating Ustinov got, I don't hink he will ever want to face Pulev again for whatever reason.

Ustinov moves like a school bus and is 100% tomato can. So is Tua at this point. If Wlad fights one of these two it is time to strip him of his belts. If he wants to make money off easy non risky fights fine but it is time to take his belts. Wlad just wants to make money and pad his record fighting bums at this point. He also should be stripped if he fights Boystov. No more bums for Wlad.

You picked TT to knock out and "expose" Pulev, remember?

Pulev is much better than you give him credit for.

Not really yeah he beat TT I'll give you that but he looked like **** doing it. He can't even throw a right hand the proper way. Hell I'm left handed and can throw a better right hand than him. He gives a looping punch a whole new meaning. Don't get me wrong Pulev earned his title shot and Wlad needs to give him his chance. What is up with K2 tell people who gets a title shot next? I will pull for Pulev to KO Wlad for sure but his fate will be the same as Povetkins unless he makes it a dirty fight. Hell Wlad fights dirty and Pulev needs to give it back to him. So what if Pulev gets DQ's its better than letting Wlad grab and clinch for 12 rounds.

Well you do have a point there. But TT is over the hill but Pulev fought him and beat him so he earned his title shot. And it is total BS if Wlad fights Boystov and makes Pulev wait. Boystov has beat no one.

That's how I read it too. Watch Pulev-Ustinov and Pulev-Thompson and you can clearly see the impact of one year of inactivity. Not how you want to face Wlad.

If Sauerland were to hold back Pulev , the IBF would relinquish him as mando.
We all know how Wlad wants to stay active but he'd rather not fight and wait on Boystov than take on Pulev.

Missed you D, where you been?

Nonetheless, you are right on this point - Pulev (no matter what you think of him) has earned this shot. Boytsov (and I still believe he has considerable potential) simply hasn't. I can't blame Denis for takin' the payday, but damn, as far as I know Pulev's also a mando for Wlad, and right now a far more respectable opponent.

Pulev is too big to be physically dominated in the way that Sasha was but he fights a lot like Wlad - jab, jab etc. but Wlad does it better.

Boytsov vs Wlad will look just like Wlad - Povetkin, a smaller guy getting climbed on to negate his power and offense on the inside. It ain't a fight I want to see, and TBH I think Boytsovs career would be better served by waiting out Wlad, but obvs. we all need to earn our daily bread, and a Klit will always be a good payday.

    No, he didn't.

Thompson was outboxed was taken apart by Pulev. He had a good first few rounds. Wlad could not out box Thompson. All he could do was look for the KO.

He didn't look tired a few months earlier when he was attacking with more volume against Price.
Pulev outboxed him and broke his spirt with none of the Power Wlad brings. Thats boxing skill Wlad doesn't have.
Wlad couldn't even outbox small man Povetkin. He and his camp knew if they boxed Povetkin he would get knocked out.

Well, that was the fight plan. They knew that TT is going to tire after the first few rounds so they were just waiting for that to happen. You guys are discussing by not taking into account the fight plan that has been followed.

No , thats only logic coming from dumbss k2 fanboy.
Wlad knew his only chance to get past Povetkin was by cheating and fouling. He trains to win that way in camp. Bounter made sure the ref was paid off so he could avoid a fight. What he did was worthy of DQ loss.
He wasn't good enough to outbox Povetkin and you cant see that because you are just a fan of a person and dont know **** about this sport.
