Prime Thompson would give trouble to anyone but Vladimir. Pulev made a big statement when winning this fight because he has distinguished himself from the likes of David Price, Chisora etc and proved to be better.

Ring IQ, adaptability and determination are the things that are setting him apart.

I don't know if I'd buy that, and I am a fan of the Tiger. Thompson was almost completely neutralized once Pulev made his adjustments. A fight between the two at their best would be a good, solid fight.

thompson just gives 2 career best performances against the prospect of the year in Price, then Pulev beats him up and suddenly he is past it

you negative ****s on here make me laugh, you must all be depressed to talk so much shite.

Pulev beat a good top 10 fighter and he made it look easy, it was very impressive and Pulev is a very good fighter and a welcome addition to the top 5 at heavyweight

skibadee '' deal with the matter, deal with it proper''

Good point! Plus Tony looked in better shape for the Pulev fight.

I think prime Thompson was capable of a lot of things, he took his foot off the gas after the 4th round.
