wrong Ustinov is complete garbage and so is Dimitrenko. Pulev could not even stop a dead tired glass jawed Walker which is pathetic. Even Adamek stopped Walker. Pulev has zero punching power and I just don't see him beating Thompson. Thompson has enough power to slice up Pulev's face. Thompson is going to expose the fraud.

 

Hype Pulev while you still can. Feather fisted Pulev does not have the tools to test Thompson's heart. Its Pulev's heart that will be tested. Pulev better have a good cut man as easy as he cuts.

 

I really wish Thompson the best, gotta love the man's determination and willpower. But I think he's outmatched here in almost every department, age being a strong disadvantage in what I expect to be a 10+ round war of attrition.

Every round that passes Thompson will gas out a bit more and Pulev's youth will allow him to land more and more. I'm going with a late TKO or clear UD win for Pulev.

Thompson has more punching power, stronger skin and more skill. Pulev is not even tested at this level. All Pulev has is a jab and thats it. It takes more than that at this level. Pulev is no spring chicken either. Feather fisted Pulev is the one that is going to has stamina problems due to the blood he will be losing do to cut eyes. I will be glad to see Pulev exposed.

 

I can't envision Thompson lasting for 12 rounds, unless he is going to let Pulev seriously outwork him. Watch Price II and his last fight against Wlad and notice how tired he became.

I think they think that this is his 3rd fight this year is a bad thing and that Pulev hasn't fought for a year is a positive against an old guy.

Again I think this is a silly mistake.

They were desperate to get Pulev his Final eliminator and have made an error of judgement with Thompson, that will set Pulev back until he is 34.
