"On May 14, 2019 Fury SAID that IF the Diamond belt was on the line he would face Whyte.

And then AFTER the WBC said OKAY ! ! ! Fury turned into a Chicken**** and found Wallin."

    Funny that.

Completely incorrect. Getting broken down then quitting to Andy Ruiz has massively hurt AJ's reputation and bargaining power. He now has to share a ton of the revenue with no-draw Ruiz just to try and get his titles back. Once he does he's gonna be seen as a KO waiting to happen. No AJ-Wilder fight makes the kind of money it would have before he was embarrassingly beat down, and AJ's share of the pot will be smaller also.

Fury already manned up and fought Wilder while AJ sat on the bench for 10 months then got KTFO by a guy nowhere near the top 10. Fury gained massive exposure from his last no risk bum fight and he'll get massive exposure from this no risk bum fight too. I don't like the fights, but you can't argue with it from a promotional standpoint. It's classic Bobfather BS.

I don't mind the guy and I think Fury is very talented but he is a disgrace as a 'lineal' champ. For a start he goes missing for years after his title win, then defends this mythical title against seferi, shwarz and Wallin and the other bum who's name I can't remember right now. Then he speaks **** about Joshua avoiding people. Give him credit for his performance v Wilder. Very dissapointing since though.

Confirmed they got lowballed, yes I read.

Shame that, isn't Fury rolling in the money now? Why is he acting broke?

Correct me if am wrong but I do not believe that a fighter puts up his own money for fights?? So your point has no relevance.

You're right, his money comes from his promoters, clearly not from the fans because not enough of them attend his fights to generate the money he is being offered by ESPN.

So the ESPN money is clearly what I am reffering to, funny how ESPN don't have enough money to pay his opponents (good ones), but can buy cheap ones that nobody will pay to see.

We know what the money is. It's very good money. We all know what Schwarz got paid ($+1million/low seven figures) and we all know that any offer to Pulev or Povetkin would have been significantly higher. They were both offered more than they will make in their next three fights. The money was not the issue, they did not want the fight.

If everyone knows except me, can you enlighten how much it was offered to them?

You can argue it from a promotional standpoint because the fights they've picked for him post Wilder are such mismatches as to offend even a casual boxing fan. Sure, he's been getting paid for these fights but it just makes the public question him more.

I don't think it does make the public question him, and hardcore boxing fans already know what he can do. The US public by and large don't know who he or any other HW boxer is. These fights are awful, but they're just an excuse to do a full media tour. For Fury to go on every ESPN show and every other radio or TV show that will have him. An excuse for YouTube and social media to be flooded with interviews. This purely about increasing his exposure and name recognition in the US, not cementing his legacy. He's already the lineal champ and #1 amongst anyone that has any sense. They're selling both those things hard.

Again, I'm not in any way defending Schwartz or Wallin as opponents. They're truly awful and designed to offer highlight-reel KO's with absolutely no risk and at rock bottom purses. I must have seen that Matrix-style video of Fury dodging Schwatz's punches on social media 20 times since the fight. That's pretty crazy considering how useless a fight it really was.

If we're real about where Fury's profile was in the US 6 months ago and where it will be going in to Wilder II, you can't legitimately criticise these fights from a promotional standpoint. However, you absolutely can from all other angles.
